Amish Friendship Bread

* Exported from MasterCook *

1 Cup Friendship Bread Starter
1 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Milk
3 Whole Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Large Box Instant Vanilla pudding and pie filling
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Nuts

To the starter, add the next four ingredients. Mix well. In a separate bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients, then add to the liquid ingredients.

Pour into two well greased and sugared bread pans, or four smaller loaf pans.

Bake at 325 for about one hour. When loaves crack on top and feel solid, the bread is done. Turn out onto wire rack to cool, then wrap in waxed paper to keep fresh. Slicing is easier after bread is cooled.

Description: Dense, sweet dessert bread
Yield: "2 loaves"
